Calendar
September 2, Tuesday – Lessons begin (note that Monday students begin the week after Labor Day, Sept. 9)
November 26-27 – Thanksgiving Break
December 11- Last day of Fall Session
December 15-17 – Make-up lessons (as needed and scheduled)
January 5, 2026 – Lessons resume
May 14, 2026 – Last day of Spring Session (Makeup lessons scheduled as needed)
May 16, 2026 – Spring Studio Recitals – K-12 Students – 12 noon; Adult Students – 2 pm

The dates will be as follows: September 27, October 25, November 22, January 31, February 28, March 28, April 25 – recital-run throughs/mandatory
Summer Lessons will be held for a six to eight week period and will be scheduled individually with each student.

VMTA Events
November 15, 2025, Fall Festival Some students will participate in this VMTA adjudicated festival. It will be held on the campus of Shenandoah University at the Goodson Chapel and Recital Hall.
March 14, 2026 – Baroque Piano Festival and Competition This VMTA event will also be held in Goodson Chapel and Recital Hall.
